When the Simply Shredding branch network was created the owners were keen from day one to give something back to the environment and they made a decision to support The Woodland Trust. They committed each Simply Shredding branch to plant two native oak trees, every year through The Woodland Trust's new woodland planting schemes.
The Woodland Trust advise that "Creating new woodland is at the heart of what we do. We mobilise communities, landowners and volunteers to get trees in the ground, and aim to plant a tree for every person in the UK."
With the recent trees donated by Simply Shredding members we are delighted to announce that we have now planted over 1,000 trees though The Woodland Trust. This is a fantastic achievement and something that all at Simply Shredding are really proud to be part of.
