Simply Shredding were delighted to receive the 40th Anniversary booklet in from The Woodland Trust along with thanks for supporting them of late. In the coming months Simply Shredding will be making further donations to ensure more oak trees are planted.
Below are the comments we were pleased to read from The Woodland Trust.
"In this, the Woodland Trust’s 40th anniversary year, we would like to thank you for your support; past, present and future.
In 1972 Kenneth Watkins was alarmed by the continuing disappearance of woods from the British countryside. He had a vision to conserve the nation’s woods for the benefit of people and wildlife, and with this he founded the Woodland Trust.
Over the past 40 years we have achieved some incredible things, from acquiring and protecting over 1,200 woods, planting 16 million trees and inspiring millions of people, particularly children, in our work.
Your support has enabled us to make a real and lasting difference for trees and woods in this country, for everyone, and we want to thank you for your valuable contribution, we really couldn't have done it without you."
